By filing the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking parole to enable him to attend marriage of her niece namely Ruchi which is to be solemnised on 11th March, 2016.

Mr.Rahul Mehra, learned Standing Counsel for the State accepts notice.

Learned Standing Counsel for the State has drawn the attention of this Court to the order dated 02.03.2016 passed in W.P.(Crl.) No.686/2016 filed by the petitioner seeking parole to enable her to attend the marriage of her niece namely Ruchi. He further submits that at the time of filing W.P.(Crl.) 686/2016 since the representation made by the petitioner before the competent authority seeking parole has not been decided, vide order dated 02.03.2016 directions were issued to the competent authority to dispose of the representation of the petitioner within seven days from the date of order. W.P.(CRL) 787/2016

Mr.Rahul Mehra, learned Standing Counsel, on instructions, submits that the representation made by the petitioner seeking parole has been rejected by the competent authority.

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for grant of parole to the petitioner to enable her to attend the marriage of her niece namely Ruchi, which is to be solemnised on 11th March, 2016. He further submits that the petitioner is ready to abide by the terms and conditions, if any, as deemed fit by this Court while considering her prayer.

Considering the ground for which the petitioner is seeking parole i.e. to attend the marriage of her niece, which is to be solemnised on 11th March, 2016, the prayer of the petitioner is allowed to the extent that she is granted parole for a period of one week from the date of her release, on her furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of concerned Jail Superintendent, subject to the condition that at the time of furnishing the bail bond, the petitioner shall inform to the concerned Jail Superintendent her place of residence during the period of parole and her contact numbers i.e. mobile, landline or both. 7.

It is, however, made clear that on expiry of the parole period, the Petitioner shall surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent, who shall submit the surrender report to this Court. 8.

Writ Petition stands allowed in the above terms. 9.

The Petitioner be informed through the Jail Superintendent about the order passed.

As prayed, copy of the order be given dasti to learned counsel for the petitioner under the signature of Court Master. PRATIBHA RANI, J.
