The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Sections 29A(4) & 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for completion of the arbitration proceedings.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent accepts notice. This Court notes, as pointed out by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, that earlier on two occasions, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal was extended by this Court, initially vide order dated 12.03.2024, and later vide order dated 02.08.2024.

However, considering the material placed on record, the mandate for concluding the arbitration proceedings and passing the arbitral award is extended from 30.11.2024 to 28.02.2025.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 9.
