These Petitions under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the Petitioner for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Material on record indicates that the Arbitrator was appointed by this Court on 02.03.2021. Material on record indicates that the last of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal was extended by this Court for a period of one year i.e., from 14.12.2023 to 14.12.2024. It is stated that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is going to expire on 14.12.2024. 3.

In view of the facts of the present case, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Arbitrator for a period of one year from 14.12.2024, so that the award can be pronounced.

The Petitions are disposed of, along with the pending applications, if any.
