The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- "(a) Pass appropriate directions to the Respondents to rescind the contract awarded to the existing contactor and take legal action against them for the larger public interest; and/or (b) Pass appropriate directions to the Respondents to make resolutions/ guidelines to keep a check on the activities of the contractors whoever is awarded with the contract of parking facilities nearby a monument having national/international importance; and/or (c) Direct the Respondents to hold departmental enquiry against the officers who ought to have invigilated the activities of the contractor after being awarded the contract of parking facilities nearby a monument as sensitive and important as the Red Fort; and/or The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. It is the case of the petitioner that the party /contractor (M/s V Inspirer Facility Management Private Limited), which has been awarded the parking contract facilities at Red Fort and Qutab Minar for a term of three years is not following the conditions as laid down by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). The petitioner has already submitted a representation in this regard to the ASI on 16.07.2024, however the same has not been decided as yet.

In view of the above, we consider it apposite to direct the ASI to decide the representation of the petitioner and communicate the decision to him.

The ASI, in particular, the Director General as well as concerned police authorities, shall examine the alleged violations of the terms and conditions as highlighted by the petitioner and in case the same are found to be correct, shall also take the remedial action, in accordance with law. 4.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. Pending application also stands disposed of.
