The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents for taking action against the continuous illegal encroachment by the owners of Flat numbers. 5, 7 and 8, Pocket D, Mayur Vihar, Phase II, East Delhi-110091. A further direction is sought for stopping the illegal construction on the roof atop Flat number 8 and the encroachment on the common passage covering the open space.

A status report has been handed over in Court on behalf of respondent/ MCD. It is stated in the status report that demolition/ sealing action was taken on 16th March, 2026 and 17th March, 2026, wherein the projection on the Government land has been demolished in presence of the Police.
