Mr. Sameer Vashisht, Standing Counsel (Civil) appearing for Respondent No. 1, apprises the Court that the grievances of Petitioners Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 11 and 12 stand redressed, as their names have been included in the list of eligible applicants/advocates published by the office of the Principal District and Sessions Judge, East District, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi.

The aforesaid submission is not disputed by counsel appearing for the Petitioners.

In view thereof, grievance of Petitioners Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 11 and 12 stands redressed.

Mr. Vashisht further submits that Petitioners Nos. 7 and 10, namely, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 28/01/2026 at 12:55:33

Sumesh Kumar Arya and Mahesh Chandra, have been included in the list of applicants whose documents are required to be verified. It is submitted that upon successful verification, their names shall be included in the list of eligible candidates.

As regards Petitioners Nos. 5 and 8, Mr. Vashisht submits that they have been found ineligible for allotment, as they are not permanent residents of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, as required under Rule 3 of the "District Court Karkardooma Lawyers' Chamber (Allotment and Occupancy) Rules, 1995 (Amended)", and are, therefore, not entitled to allotment of chambers.

It is noted that the relevant list has been uploaded under a covering letter dated 21st January, 2026. Let the allotment process be completed in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the Court expects that the allotment process shall be completed expeditiously and without any further delay. 8.
