This petition seeks grant parole for a period of 60 days to the petitioner in FIR No.684/1995, P.S. Tilak Nagar, Delhi on the ground that the wedding of her grandson is scheduled for 11th December 2024, though wedding ceremonies will start from 7th December 2024 itself. Wedding card has been appended along with the petition, as per which the venue of the marriage is Samaaj Sadan, Sector 4, R K Puram, Near Ramjas School, New Delhi-110022.

Ms. Priyam Aggarwal, Advocate appearing on behalf of the State, after several attempts, has obtained the Nominal Roll from the concerned Jail Superintendent, as per which, petitioner has already undergone about 20 years of incarceration including remission; has no previous involvement; had been granted parole and furlough successively since 2015 wherein she did not misuse the liberty. 3.

This Court vide order dated 4th December 2024 had directed the petitioner to move a representation. Counsel for petitioner states that they moved the representation on 4th December 2024 itself, however, time is clearly not enough for authorities to take decision.

In the peculiar facts of the matter and considering over all circumstances, parole for a period of 3 weeks is granted to the petitioner, from the date of her release, subject to furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent subject to the following conditions: i.

The petitioner shall also provide the SHO, Police Station Tilak Nagar, Delhi with mobile telephone number which shall be kept in working condition at all times and shall not switch off or change the mobile number without prior intimation to the SHO concerned. ii.

The petitioner will report to SHO, Police Station Tilak Nagar, every alternate Friday at 4 p.m. and will not be kept waiting for more than an hour.

iii.

The petitioner shall not leave the National Capital Territory of Delhi during the period of parole, without the prior permission of this Court. iv.

The petitioner shall not indulge in any criminal activity and shall not communicate with or come in contact with the complainant/victim or any member of the complainant/victim's family. v.

The petitioner is directed to surrender before the jail authorities at the expiry of the period of parole.

Petition is accordingly disposed of.
