By way of present petitions filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioners seek quashing of Complaint Case No. 110/2012 as well as the order dated 12.12.2022 directing further investigation passed in Complaint Case No. 1387/2018 and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom. The subject complaints, alongwith applications under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C., came to be preferred by respondent No.2 alleging misappropriation of huge sums of money by the petitioners. Learned APP for the State submits that now a closure report has been filed which is pending consideration before the concerned trial court. It is further informed that the complainant has preferred a protest petition. 3.
The present petition is disposed of alongwith the pending application with liberty to the petitioner to seek remedy in accordance with law. 4.
With the consent of the parties and considering that interim protection that was initially granted has been continued till date, the same shall be continued till the closure report/protest petition is considered/decided by the concerned court and for a period of one week thereafter.
