% 09.03.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 14th July, 2015, therefore, FIR may be quashed. It is further submitted that marriage between petitioner and respondent no. 2 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent dated 15th November, 2016 passed by the Family Court, West District, Delhi. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has also been identified by ASI Sushma, P.S. Uttam Nagar. Respondent no. 2 submits that she has already received

the entire settled amount and is not willing to pursue the FIR any further. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 and that marriage between them has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, FIR No.

830/2014 under Sections 498-A/406 IPC registered at Police Station Uttam Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
