The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh. He states that the petitioners will approach the Residents Welfare Association to ensure that necessary steps are taken to save the area for use as a playground. This Court is also of the view that the matter must be resolved amongst the residents of the colony, and it is hoped that the residents shall cooperate with each other to ensure that the area in question is preserved for use as a playground for the children, and is not used otherwise.

The petition and the application are dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid observations.
