% 02.04.2018 IA 4180/2018 Exemption allowed subject to all just exceptions. IA 4179/2018 This is an application seeking interim relief. As the main petition is being disposed of, the application has become infructuous. O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 41/2018 This is a petition under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time for making of the Arbitral Award. Counsel for the respondent appears on advance notice and submits that the respondent has no objection if the time for making of the award is extended.
Keeping in view the averments made in the petition and also no objection expressed by the counsel for the respondent, time for making of the award is extended by a further period of six months
with effect from today i.e. 2nd April, 2018.
The petition is allowed in the above terms with no order as to costs.
