The matter has been received on transfer.

This is a petition seeking direction to the learned Trial Court, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi to dispose of/decide the application which was permitted to be reheard by virtue of Court's order dated 03.09.2024. 3.

On 03.09.2024, this Court directed as under:- "8. However as prayed-for. the petitioner shall be at liberty to file an appropriate application before the learned Family Court for reconsidering the ad-interim maintenance awarded, which may be decided by the said court, in accordance with law.

9.Any such application shall be decided by the learned Family Court without being influenced by any observation made in the present proceedings."

Pursuant to the said liberty, the application has been filed. Reply has also been filed.

For the said reasons, it is hoped that the learned Family Court will reconsider the application for grant of ad-interim maintenance as expeditiously as possible.

In the meanwhile, without prejudice to rights and contentions of the petitioner and subject to adjustment of arrears as raised in the application, the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs. 2 lakhs to the respondents before the next date of hearing before the learned Trial Court. 7.
