By filing present revision petition, the petitioner has assailed the orders dated 13.05.2014 whereby the appeal bearing CA No.6/2 preferred by him impugning the conviction and sentence awarded to him in complaint case bearing CC No.2554B/1 for committing the offence punishable under Section 138 NI Act, has been dismissed.

Learned counsels on behalf of the parties, submitted that the parties have settled the dispute amicably and complete payment has been made. 3.
Learned counsel for the respondent on instructions submits that the respondent has received the complete payment from the petitioner as per the settlement arrived at between them and the respondent does not want any penal action against the petitioner.

This is a case under Section 138 N.I. Act which is compoundable. In view of the offence being compounded, the petitioner is acquitted in the present case.

The petitions stands disposed of.
Crl.M.A. 4871/2016 (Directions) Dismissed as infructuous.
