This petition has been filed, seeking directions for representation dated 07th October 2024, to be decided by the authorities. 2.

Counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner is a social worker and has attempted to raise his voice against the illegal activities like selling of contraband, liquor and gambling under the jurisdiction of P.S. Nand Nagri, however, he has been harassed by the police personnel. 3.

The ASC for the State, at the very threshold, states that there are various cases registered against the petitioner including various complaints and one rape case and he is found to have impersonated police personnel. 4.

Without entering the merits of the controversy, the limited direction sought is for deciding the representation, which is addressed to various authorities.

The said representation may therefore be looked into by the DCP and disposed of in accordance with law.

Additionally, it is pointed out by the ASC that a police complaint authority has been constituted to the National Capital Territory of Delhi, by notification dated 29th January 2018, which is now chaired by Hon'ble Ms. Justice Poonam A. Bamba (former Judge of this Court) which is intended to inquire into allegations of "serious misconduct" by police personnel. 7.

Needless to say, the petitioner is also at liberty to approach the concerned authority in accordance with law.

Petition is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are also disposed of as being rendered infructuous.
