O R D E R

During the course of arguments, the parties agreed to settle the dispute.

2.

It is agreed that the rate of rent of the suit premises is @Rs.300/- per month, as recorded in mediation proceedings before the Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts on 01.11.2007.

It is further admitted that the arrears of rent from September, 2001 to December, 2006 @300/- per month have been paid by the appellant to the respondent in terms of the said settlement.

It is agreed that the appellant shall not dispute the relationship of landlord and tenant between the parties.

5.

It is further agreed that the appellant shall pay the arrears of rent from January, 2007 till date @300/- per month to the respondent without prejudice within four weeks.

In view of the above, the appeal stands disposed of. Parties shall bound by the terms and conditions mentioned above. In case of any difficulty/non-compliance, any of the parties will be at liberty to approach this Court.
