The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita by the Petitioner seeking grant of parole for a period of one (1) month in FIR No. 862/16 under Sections 302/201/120B/34 IPC registered at P.S. Shahbad Dairy.

It is stated that the Petitioner was last granted furlough on 25.11.2024 and the Petitioner thereafter surrendered on 10.12.2024. 3.
It is stated that however, the Petitioner's mother has taken seriously ill and she has been directed to undergo dialysis twice a week. It is stated that the mother's medical condition is precarious. The medical records of the mother have been annexed with the petition. It is stated that there is thus an emergency and hence parole is being sought in January, 2025. Learned Standing Counsel has filed a status report, which states that the medical records have been verified.

In these aforenoted facts, the Petitioner is granted parole for a period of two (2) weeks on the same terms and conditions as were set out in the Respondent's order dated 07.10.2024, while granting him furlough which read as under:
i.
Petitioner shall furnish one surety of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each alongwith a personal bond in the like amount for his release on Furlough to the satisfaction of the Superintendent, Central Jail, Tihar.
ii.
Petitioner shall maintain peace and good behavior during his period of release on Furlough.
iii.
Petitioner remain at his residence during the period of his release on furlough and his ordinary place of residence shall be:- H. No. 2/144, Section-16, Rohini, Delhi.
iv.
Petitioner shall report at least once in a week on every Tuesday to Police Station under which his ordinary place of residence falls, at 04:00 P.M. during the period of his release on furlough. The Petitioner shall not be kept waiting beyond 05:00 P.M. v.
Petitioner shall surrender to the Superintendent, Central Jail, Tihar, New Delhi on the expiry of his period of release on parole. 6.
The Petitioner undertakes that he will not seek any extension of time and will duly surrender as he also acknowledges that the co-convict Mr. Jeet Dahiya has been granted parole by a separate order today passed in W.P. With the aforesaid directions, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are also disposed of as being rendered infructuous. 8.
