The present contempt petition is preferred for the wilful defiance of the order dated 04.10.2023 passed in CONT.CAS.(C) No. 1429/2023, as well as the initial order dated 22.09.2022 in W.P.(C) No. 2545/2022.

As evidently, the present matter is the second contempt petition, with respect to the same order for which another CONT.CAS.(C) No. 1429/2023 is listed today as Item No. 6.

After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner requests for permission to withdraw the present petition. 4.

Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
