O R D E R

% 18.04.2016 Present writ petition has been filed by twenty-one parents of students studying in respondent No.2-school. The petitioners seek a direction to respondent No.1 to examine the accounts of respondent No.2-school for the period between 2011 and 2015.

Mr. M.K. Rajesh, learned counsel for petitioner states that despite the Directorate of Education's order dated 19th January, 2016, respondent no. 2School has not refunded the excess fee collected by it. Mr. Amit Sibal, learned senior counsel for respondent nos. 2 and 3 states that since the order dated 19th January, 2016 was passed without giving an opportunity of hearing to the respondent no. 2-School, the Directorate of Education has subsequently given them a hearing on 4th April, 2016 and the matter is under re-consideration by the Directorate of Education.

Mr. Devesh Singh, learned counsel for respondent no. 1-Directorate of Education states that the matter raised in the present writ petition is under active consideration of the Directorate of Education and an opportunity of hearing has already been given to respondent-School. He further states that an opportunity of hearing shall also be given to the petitioners and the matter would be disposed of expeditiously.

Since the matter is under active consideration of Directorate of Education, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Directorate of Education to also give an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners herein within three weeks and decide the matter by way of a speaking order within a further period of three weeks.
