Petitioner seeks initiation of contempt against the respondent for not complying with the directions contained in the order dated 30.09.2024 passed by the learned Coordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.(C) No. 13711/2024. 2.

As per the specific directions contained in the above said order, the respondent i.e. Airports Authority of India (AAI) was required to pass a fresh reasoned and speaking order with regard to the fact whether the petitioner was to be given any offer of appointment.

Learned counsel for respondent appears on advance notice and intimates that a decision has been taken today itself and as per such decision dated 09.12.2024, the Airports Authority has come to a conclusion that there is no valid additional point substantiated in reviving the offer of appointment as sought by the petitioner. It is also informed that a copy of such decision has been communicated, a moment back to the petitioner. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that, in view of the above said, petitioner would see as to what other remedy as permissible under law is available to him but as far as the present contempt petition, is concerned, he does not press the same.

Accordingly, the petition stands dismissed as not pressed. Liberty, as prayed, is granted.
