Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of as withdrawn. 3.
All the contentions including the one viz. the issue of limitation particularly under Section 110(2) of the Customs Act, 1962 is kept open to be agitated before the competent authority in the wake of show-cause notice and the corrigendum thereto.

It is open for the petitioner to have provisional custody of the sculpture in view of the order dated 05th January, 2026, directing provisional The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Needless to clarify that we have not gone into the merits of the matter. 6.
Having regard to the fact that detention was ordered on 24th October, 2024 and the seizure was affected on 29th October 2025, no warehouse charges shall be levied for the said period.

Pending application also stands disposed of accordingly. 9.
