The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking grant of parole for a period of four weeks, in FIR No. 34/2003 registered at Police Station Ashok Vihar for the offences punishable under sections 120B/364A/302/201/411/420/ 468/471/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, ('IPC'), stating that this Court, vide order dated 03.11.2025 had requested the respondent authority to decide petitioner's application for parole within a period of two weeks, but the same has not been decided yet.

It is relevant to note that the petitioner did not even bother to wait for the two weeks period to expire and have filed the present petition on 15.11.2025, i.e. two days prior to the date of expiry.

pending application of the petitioner seeking parole, is likely to be passed within a period of two weeks.
