The hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.

The present petition has been filed by a few senior citizens seeking directions to the reference court to expeditiously decide the application bearing LAC No. 7/2018 titled Union of India vs. Renu Jain and Ors. 3.

On the last date i.e, 17th November, 2025, considering that the subject matter has been pending since seven years and the age of the Petitioners, the Court had sought a report from the reference court regarding the status of the said matter.

The status report has been received from the ld. District Judge, Shahdara District, Karkardooma Courts, which has been perused by this Court. It is seen that matter is proceeding before the ld. District Judge and continuous dates are being given before the said ld. District Judge. Considering that this is a case filed by senior citizens, the only direction that the Court is inclined to pass is that the ld. District Judge may afford priority to the matter and decide the same preferably by 31st July, 2026. 6.
