The petitioner has filed a petition being O.A. No.269/2007 (new O.A. No.61841/2016) for dissolution of marriage on the ground of cruelty in the year 2007 which is pending at the stage of recording the petitioner's evidence. The petitioner is seeking expeditious hearing and disposal of his petition.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent has filed an application for enhancement of maintenance which has to be taken up before recording of the petitioner's evidence. 3.
Learned counsel for both the parties submit that the case is listed before the learned Family Court on 2nd August, 2017 and they shall not seek any adjournment on the said date.
Learned counsel for both the parties further agree not to seek any unnecessary adjournments during the course of the proceedings before the Trial Court. The statement of learned counsel for both the parties is taken on record.

Both the parties are directed to file the fresh affidavits of their assets, income and expenditure in the format of Annexure A1 to the order dated 29th May, 2017 in FAO 369/1996 titled Kusum Sharma v. Mahinder Kumar Sharma along with the documents mentioned therein within a period of two weeks from today before the learned Family Court. The response to the affidavits be filed by both the parties before 2nd August, 2017. The learned Trial Court shall take up the respondent's application for enhancement of maintenance on 2nd August, 2017 and after the disposal of the said application, the learned Family Court shall proceed to record the evidence. Considering that the petition relates to the year 2007, the learned Family Court shall expedite the hearing and endeavour to decide the matter within a period of 8 months from today.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. 6.
In view of the disposal of this petition, the order dated 3rd May, 2017 requisitioning the record of the Trial Court is recalled. 7.
Copy of this order be given dasti to counsel for the parties under the signature of the Court Master.
