The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to respondent nos. 1 and 2, to stop the illegal and unauthorized construction, being carried out by respondent no. 3, in the Shop No. 14/2, measuring 6X8 feet (48 Sq. Ft.), falling in Survey No. 6X8, situated at 14-Block Market, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, Sector-6, Dakshinpuri Extn., New Delhi-110062. 2.
Responding to the present writ petition, learned counsel for the respondent no. 1-Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD") submits that the unauthorized construction in the property already stands booked on 10th November, 2025, and a Show Cause Notice has also been issued in this regard.

He, thus, submits that a Work Stop Notice has also been issued to Station House Officer ("SHO"), Police Station-Ambedkar Nagar. 4.

shall be taken after following the due procedure, in accordance with law. 5.
Learned counsel for the respondent no. 2-SHO, Police StationAmbedkar Nagar submits that as and when any action is sought to be taken by the MCD against the unauthorized construction in question, requisite Police assistance shall be provided by the Police to the MCD. 6.
The aforesaid statement made on behalf of the Police, as well as learned counsel for the respondent-MCD, is taken note of. 7.
The MCD and the SHO, Police Station-Ambedkar Nagar are held bound by the statements made before this Court. 8.
Accordingly, it is directed that respondent nos. 1 and 2 shall take requisite action against the unauthorized construction, being carried out in the property in question, after following due procedure, in accordance with law.

In case, any of the parties are aggrieved by any action or non-action on the part of the MCD, their rights to seek remedies, in accordance with law, is reserved.

The concerned Officials of the MCD, with the assistance of SHO, Police Station-Ambedkar Nagar, shall ensure that any ongoing unauthorized construction in the property in question, is stopped forthwith. 11.
With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
