This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 6 months for concluding the arbitral proceedings and passing the final award.

Mr. Chauhan, learned counsel of the petitioner, states that the delay occurred due to the fact that the petitioner had filed for additional documents.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Narula, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and states that he has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.
