Through the present Petition, the Petitioners assail the correctness of an order dated 03.07.2025 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, whereby the O.A. No.3593/2024 filed by the Respondents was disposed of with the following directions: "9. In view of what has been discussed herein above, this OA is allowed. The competent authority amongst the respondents is directed to consider the candidature of the applicants herein for the post of Air Worthiness Officer and offer appointment to them, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 13/01/2026 at 13:18:39
in case they are found otherwise eligible, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Needless to say, if appointed, the applicants shall be entitled to all notional benefits. No costs."

Pursuant to the order dated 03.07.2025, Union of India has taken a conscious decision to reject the candidature of the Respondents for the post of Airworthiness Officers in Director General of Civil Aviation ('DGCA').

In view of the aforesaid development, learned counsel representing the Petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present Petition.

The present Petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn. All the pending applications shall stand closed.
