% 14.08.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no.1. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are also present in Court and have been identified by SI Azad Singh of police station Ranhola.

It is submitted that petitioner and respondent nos. 2 and 3 are neighbours. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issue which led to registration of FIR No. 146/2014 under Sections 323/354/452 IPC and under Section of 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012 against the petitioner at police station Ranhola, on the complaint of respondent no.2. With the intervention of their common friends and family members, petitioner and respondent nos. 2 and 3 have settled their disputes

amicably vide Compromise Deed dated 5th February, 2018. Respondent no. 2 submits that at present she is about 21years old. At the time of incident, she was 15 years old.

Respondent nos. 2 and 3 admit having settled the matter with the petitioner of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and have no objection in case FIR is quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent nos.2 and 3 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
