By filing the present petition, the petitioner is praying for grant of furlough for a period of three weeks.

Perusal of the nominal roll of the petitioner reveals that in column No.17 i.e. Details of interim bail/parole/furlough availed, it is mentioned that he has availed parole for a period of one month in the recent past i.e. with effect from 15.10.2015 to 15.11.2015.

As per Parole/Furlough Guidelines-2010, a minimum period of six months ought to have elapsed from the date of termination of the previous parole/furlough.

In the given facts and circumstances, the prayer of the Petitioner for releasing him on furlough is hereby rejected. 5.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.

6.

Petitioner be informed through concerned Jail Superintendent about the orders passed.
