The present petition has been filed by the petitioner, who is based in Bihar, praying inter alia for directions to the respondents to place her name in the selection list for the post of Constable (GD) in the State of Jharkhand in CISF.

Learned counsel for the respondents raises a primary objection with regard to the maintainability of the petition in this Court as the petitioner is stated to be a resident of Bihar and had applied for the examination in Bihar and further, the respondent No. 2 is also based in Bihar.

In view of the fact that no part of the actionable cause of action has arisen in Delhi, there does not appear any reason for the petitioner to have W.P.(C) 3127/2016

filed the present petition in this Court.

In view of the aforesaid position, the present petition is disposed of with liberty granted to the petitioner to approach the appropriate court vested with the territorial jurisdiction to entertain the same. HIMA KOHLI, J SUNIL GAUR, J APRIL 08, 2016 s W.P.(C) 3127/2016
