Writ Petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India read with Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed by the Petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No. 0471/2024 dated 09.09.2024 registered under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC at P.S. Vikas Puri, Delhi and all the proceedings emanating therefrom in terms of the Memorandum of Agreement/Settlement dated 30.10.2025.

It is submitted that marriage of Petitioner No.1-husband with Respondent No.2-wife was solemnized on 04.12.2022 as per Sikh rites and customs and out of their wedlock, no child was born. However, due to temperamental differences, Respondent No. 2 and the Petitioner No. 1 started living separately.

It is stated that on 09.09.2024, the basis of Complaint filed by the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Respondent No. 2, FIR No. 0471/2024 was registered under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC at P.S. Vikaspuri wherein the Petitioners were implicated. 4.

It is submitted that with the intervention of family members, relatives and well wishers, Petitioner No.1 and Respondent No.2 have resolved their disputes and arrived at an amicable settlement, terms whereof have been recorded in Memorandum of Agreement/Settlement dated 30.10.2025. 5.

The parties are present in person in the Court and have been identified by their respective Counsel and the Investigating Officer. 6.

It is submitted by the parties that they have arrived at a settlement without any force, coercion and undue influence and pressure and they have signed the Memorandum of Agreement/Settlement dated 30.10.2025 voluntarily with their wish and will.

Learned Counsel for Petitioners submits that the parties have been happily living together for two months and no grievance against each other survives and since Respondent No. 2 has already made a statement before the Court that she does not want to pursue the proceedings in FIR No. 0471/2024, the present Petition be allowed and FIR registered against the Petitioners be quashed.

Respondent No.2 is present and submits that she has no grievance against the Petitioners and also 'no objection' to the quashing of FIR. She affirms that she is happily living together with Petitioner No.1. 9.

In view of the fact that the FIR in question was premised upon a matrimonial dispute between Petitioner No.1 and Respondent No.2, which has been amicably resolved in term of Memorandum of Agreement/Settlement dated 30.10.2025 and the fact that parties have been living together for last 02 months and also that Respondent No. 2 has given The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

'no objection' to the quashing of FIR, no fruitful purpose would be served in continuing with the proceedings arising out of the FIR. 10.

Consequently, FIR No. 0471/2024 registered under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC at P.S. Vikaspuri and proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed.

The present Petition alongwith pending Application, is accordingly disposed of.
