% 03.08.2016 By this petition the petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.373/2015 under Sections 376/420/496/506/34 IPC registered at PS Rajouri Garden, Delhi on the ground that the petitioner No. 1 and respondent No.2 are living together happily as husband and wife.

The offence under Section 376 IPC being serious in nature, the FIR cannot be quashed as per the decision of the Supreme Court reported as 2012 (9) Scale 257: 2012 (10) SCC 303 Gian Singh vs. State of Punjab & Anr.

Petition is dismissed MUKTA GUPTA, J.
