The limited grievance canvassed by the petitioner is that the concerned Appellate Authority (Ld. Divisional Commissioner, No.5, Sham Nath Marg, Delhi-110054) be directed to expeditiously decide the petitioner's Appeal No. 956/2024 titled Seema Kochhar v. Benu Kochhar & Ors, filed under Rule 22(3)(4) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009.

Considering that the petitioner is a 75 year old widow, who is gravely prejudiced by the impugned order which is the subject matter of the appellate proceedings, the present petition is disposed of with a request to the Appellate Authority to decide the petitioner's appeal as expeditiously as possible, and in any event within a period of four months from today. 3.

The Appellate Authority is requested to prioritize the present matter and schedule the dates of hearing at frequent intervals, with a view to conclude the proceedings within the aforesaid timeframe. 4.
