The present petition under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the Petitioner for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Material on record indicates that an Arbitral Tribunal was constituted on 20.10.2020. The last of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal was extended by this Court till 30.11.2025. The present petition has been filed for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal. 3.
It is stated that the last of the witnesses is being examined. 4.
In view of the facts of the present case, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal till 30.09.2026, so that the award can be pronounced.
