Matter is taken up today as 25.11.2025 has been declared holiday on account of 350th Anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur's Martyrdom Day. 2.

This writ petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- "(a) a writ of mandamus and/ or any other appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to consider the applications dated 14.10.2025 made by the Petitioner to the Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 seeking sponsorship certificate and permission for study leave in respect of the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) for admission to PG courses for January 2026 session conducted on 09.11.2025 by the Respondent no. 4 and thereby directing the Respondent nos. 1 and 2 to issue sponsorship certificate and permission for study leave in respect of the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) for admission to PG courses for January 2026 session conducted on 09.11.2025 by the Respondent no. 4;

(b) a writ of prohibition and/ or any other appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of prohibition restraining the Respondent Nos: 4 and 5 from disqualifying the Petitioner from participating in the counselling in respect of the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) for admission to PG courses for January 2026 session conducted on 09.11.2025 by the Respondent no. 4 in which the Petitioner has passed the entrance examination in terms of the result declared on 15.11.2025 bearing roll number 7934411 and candidate id 1230182997 issued by the Respondent No. 4 in Petitioner's admit card; (c) pass ad interim ex-parte orders in terms of prayers (a) and (b) above in favour of the Petitioner and against the Respondents; (d) summon all the records concerned with the case and issue suitable directions after perusal and consideration thereof; (e) award costs of the present proceedings of those incidental hereto in favour of the Petitioner."

Counsels, as above, accept notice on behalf of the respective Respondents.

Ms. Ahlawat, learned Standing Counsel for Respondents No. 1 to 3 submits that Sponsorship Certificate has been issued and communicated to the Petitioner on 24.11.2025 and therefore, there is no impediment in sponsorship and/or grant of study leave to him and the grievance ventilated in the writ petition stands redressed.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner, acknowledges this fact and submits that the Sponsorship Certificate has been uploaded on 24.11.2025 i.e., within the extended time permitted by Respondent No. 4/AIIMS and therefore, the petition is not pressed.

In light of the aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed of as not pressed. Pending applications stand disposed of.
