This writ petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- "a. quashing the Show Cause Notice dated 01.11.2025 issued by PNB as illegal, arbitrary, non-speaking, and contrary to the Bank's own reasoned order dated 06.09.2025;

b. directing Respondents and Respondent PNB to act in accordance with its reasoned order dated 06.09.2025 and not to reopen concluded proceedings without new evidence;

c. directing Respondents and Respondent PNB to communicate to CBI the conclusive "No Fraud" finding recorded in Order dated 06.09.2025; d. Issuing any other writ or direction in the interests of justice; e. Awarding costs of the Petition in favour of the Petitioner." Counsels, as above, accept notice on behalf of the respective Respondents.

Learned counsel for Respondent No. 1 appearing on advance copy of the petition takes an objection to the maintainability of the writ petition on the ground that the same is premature since only a show cause notice dated 01.11.2025 has been issued and Petitioner is yet to respond to the said show cause notice.

Be that as it may, without going into the merits of the case or the show cause notice, this writ petition is disposed of, permitting the Petitioner to file response to the show cause notice dated 01.11.2025 within one week from today. It is open to Respondent No. 1 to take a decision after considering the response/reply as also calling the Petitioner's representative for a personal hearing. Whenever the decision is taken, the same will not be given effect until two weeks to enable the Petitioner to take recourse to appropriate legal remedies.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and all rights and contentions of the respective parties are left open.

Pending applications stand disposed of.
