This petition is filed seeking directions to the respondents for rectification of the land records bearing Khasra No.847/2 situated in the revenues estate of Village Mahipal Pur, Delhi. 2.

The grievance raised in the petition is that the application submitted for rectification of the land records on 28.03.2024 annexed with the Annexure-5 of the petition, has not been dealt with till date. 3.

It is an undisputed fact that the land in question has been urbanized. The issue that after urbanization of the land, which authority has to carry out demarcation is sub-judice before a Larger Bench of this Court. 4.

respondents shall immediately decide the application for rectification of the land records after the decision of the Larger Bench and if so required would transfer the application to the competent authority. 5.

In case of an inordinate delay, the petitioners shall be at liberty to avail remedies in accordance with law.
