The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking directions in the nature of Habeas Corpus for production and restoration of the minor child, and a writ of Mandamus directing respondent no. 2 to take immediate action for tracing and recovering the child, who is illegally detained by respondent nos. 3 to 5.

The parties were referred to the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre for exploring the possibility of arriving at a settlement. We are happy to note that the parties have amicably settled their disputes and have executed the Settlement Agreement dated 16.02.2026 before the Mediation Centre. We find the same to be lawful.

In any case, once the child has been recovered and is with the natural guardian, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition. The same is accordingly dismissed.
