Through the present petition, the petitioner seeks emergency parole for a period of 4 weeks in connection with judgment of conviction dated 01.11.2000 whereby he was convicted under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

It is informed that the parole application of the parole is pending before the concerned authorities.

Learned ASC for the State submits that the concerned authorities shall endeavour to positively decide the petitioner's application for parole within a week from today.

Let the same be decided within a period of one week by the concerned authorities.

The present petition is disposed of in view of the above directions. 6.
