By filing the present petition, the petitioner is praying for grant of parole for a period of three months on the ground of getting treatment as he is suffering from Hernia, for applying electricity connection and water connection in the newly constructed house as well as for maintaining social ties.

None has appeared on behalf of the petitioner. 3.
Status report has been filed by the State mentioning therein that during enquiry, the family of the petitioner informed that there is no problem regarding electricity and water supply. Regarding medical condition of the petitioner, it is mentioned that the petitioner is getting treatment in jail. 4.
Perusal of the nominal roll of the petitioner reveals that in column No.17 i.e. Details of furlough availed, it is mentioned that he has availed W.P.(CRL) 930/2016
furlough for a period of three weeks in the recent past i.e. with effect from 22.01.2016 to 12.02.2016.

As per Parole/Furlough Guidelines-2010, a minimum period of six months ought to have elapsed from the date of termination of the previous parole/furlough.

In the given facts and circumstances, the prayer of the Petitioner for releasing him on furlough is hereby rejected. 7.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.

Petitioner be informed through concerned Jail Superintendent about the orders passed.
