O R D E R

% 07.01.2026 CRL.M.A.442/2026 By way of the present application filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023, the petitioner/applicant seeks extension of parole granted to the petitioner by 03 weeks. 2.

Vide order dated 20.11.2025, the petitioner was granted parole for a period of 04 weeks by this court.

Mr. Ritesh Kumar Chaudhary, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits, that as would be evidenced from the medical prescription appended to this application, the petitioner has suffered an accident while at his native place in Bhagalpur, Bihar, and has had W.P.(CRL) 3821/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. to have stitches put by reason of the injuries sustained on his chin and neck.

Counsel submits, that though the doctor in Bhagalpur has advised medication and bed rest for 07 days, since the petitioner's son has also sustained injuries, he is praying for a 03 weeks extension of his parole.

Issue notice.

Mr. Rahul Tyagi, learned ASC appears for the State on advance copy; accepts notice; and submits that since the incident in question has occurred in Bhagalpur, they have not yet verified the medical documents appended to the application.

The petitioner's parole is stated to be expiring on 08.01.2026 on which date he is required to surrender back to custody in Delhi. 8.

In view of the prayer made, it is not considered necessary to seek verification or response from the State.

The application is allowed.

The petitioner is granted extension of parole by 02 weeks from 08.01.2026, whereafter the petitioner shall surrender back to custody without demur. All other conditions of parole shall remain as per order dated 20.11.2025.

The application stands disposed-of.
