This writ petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner seeking the following reliefs:- "a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing and setting aside the decision of the Northern Regional Committee (NRC), NCTE, recorded in its 444th Meeting held on 24-25 July 2025, along with the consequential withdrawal order dated 10.09.2025, whereby the recognitions granted to the Petitioner for its D.El.Ed., D.El.Ed. (Additional Intake) and B.El.Ed. programmes have been withdrawn; b) Issue a writ, direction or order directing the Respondent No. 1 and Respondent No. 2 to process and decide the Petitioner's pending appeals under Section 18 of the NCTE Act expeditiously preferably within 7 days, strictly in accordance with law, the NCTE Act, 1993, the NCTE Regulations, 2014 and SOP-2019;

c) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondent no. 2 to pass necessary directions/instructions to the Petitioner institute's affiliating University, namely Mahatma Jyotiba Phule W.P.(C) 17625/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, and/or the State Government to permit the Petitioner to participate in the scheduled and forthcoming D.El.Ed. counselling process, without reference to the impugned withdrawal order."

Mr. Hardik Rupal, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Respondents.

Mr. Sharawat, learned Senior Counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions, submits that at this stage, it will be suffice if a direction is issued the Appellate Committee of Respondent No. 1/NCTE to dispose of the appeal filed by the Petitioner under Section 18 of National Council for Teacher Education Act, 1993 ('NCTE Act') expeditiously and preferably within 7 days from today in accordance with NCTE Act and National Council for Teacher Education Regulations, 2014 ('Regulations, 2014'). 5.

Without entering into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Respondent No. 1/NCTE to dispose of the appeal filed by the Petitioner within 7 days from today in accordance with NCTE Act, Regulations, 2014 and SOP, 2019. Order passed on the appeal will be communicated to the Petitioner within one day from the date of decision.

Needless to state that if the Petitioner is aggrieved by the decision, it will be at liberty to take recourse to appropriate remedies. 7.

Pending application stands disposed of.
