CRL.M.C. 9682/2024 1.

This is a petition seeking quashing of FIR No. 0748/2022 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at PS Sarai Rohilla and subsequent proceedings emanating therefrom.

The parties have arrived at a settlement dated 26.11.2024, wherein parties have agreed to settle their disputes and live together in the matrimonial home.

Petitioner is present in Court and is identified by Mr. Bhuvneshwar Tyagi, Adv. Respondent No. 2 is also present in Court and is identified by ASI Sanjay Tyagi, PS Sarai Rohilla.

free will and without any threat, pressure, coercion or undue influence. 5.

I am convinced that quashing of such proceedings on account of compromise would bring about peace and would secure ends of justice. The Court does not see any fruitful purpose if criminal proceedings are permitted to continue any further. It is a fit case for quashing. 6.

In this view of the matter, FIR No. 0748/2022 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at PS Sarai Rohilla and subsequent proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed.

The petition is accordingly disposed of.
