Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 read with Section 525 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners for quashing of the FIR No. 147/2025 under Section 65(1)/351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as 'BNS') registered at Police Station Neb Sarai and all the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, in terms of the Settlement dated 09.10.2025.

The Respondent No. 2/Prosecutrix is present in person, who states that she is 30 years old lady. She came in contact with the Petitioner No. 1, namely, Bappa Ghosh sometime in September, 2024 and they developed a consensual sexual relationship, which continued over a period of time. Subsequently, the Petitioner withdrew himself and did not come to meet the Prosecutrix, which gave rise to an apprehension in her mind that he may have withdrawn from her company.

On the Complaint of the Respondent No.2/Complainant, FIR No.147/2025 under Section 65(1)/351(2) of BNS, got registered at Police Station Neb Sarai.

The Prosecutrix had gone to the house of the Petitioner No. 1 on 05.03.2025 when the Petitioner No. 2, who is the wife of the Petitioner No. 1, had an altercation with the Prosecutrix.

It is stated that the Petitioners and the Respondent No. 2 have amicably settled all the disputes and differences between them and arrived at Settlement dated 09.10.2025 10.
Today, the Respondent No. 2, who is present in the Court, states that she has no objection if the said FIR is quashed. 11.
The parties are present before this Court in-person today, and have been identified by their Counsel and Investigating Officer concerned and they have entered into the Settlement voluntarily and without any fear and coercion and undertake to remain bound by the terms of the said Settlement. 12.
