% 18.03.2025 [Physical Hearing/Hybrid Hearing (as per request)] 1.
In furtherance of last order, respondent no.2 has appeared and is identified by the Investigating Officer. Respondent no.2 submits that she does not want to engage a separate counsel as the counsel for petitioners would take care of her interest.
2.
I have spoken with petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 in Hindi. It is submitted by both sides that they have compromised all their disputes and are living together with their daughter. It is further submitted by both sides that in terms of compromise recorded by the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, the petitioner no.1 has already paid Rs. 1,00,000/- to respondent no.2, out of which she has deposited Rs. 50,000/- as Fixed Deposit in the name of daughter of the parties. 3.
Both sides request that now they are living happily together, so the FIR No. 548/2020 of P.S. Jyoti Nagar for offence under Section 498 A/406/34 IPC be quashed.
4.
Keeping in mind that parties have resumed matrimony and they have a minor daughter, I am satisfied that it would be in the interest of justice that they are not made to continue with the trial. 5.
Therefore, the petition is allowed and consequently, the FIR No. 548/2020 of P.S. Jyoti Nagar and proceedings arising out of the same are quashed.
