By way of the present petition, the petitioners seek quashing of the FIR bearing no. 493/2024, registered at Police Station Welcome, Delhi, for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 115(2)/109(1)/351(2)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (hereafter 'BNS') and all consequent proceedings emanating therefrom. 2.

All the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present before this Court and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer (IO) concerned from Police Station Welcome, Delhi. 3.

Brief facts of the case are that on 24.08.2024, on the complaint of complainant, the present FIR was registered against the petitioners under relevant sections of law. concerned court. On 20.11.2024, the matter was amicably settled for a consideration of ₹4,00,000/-.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent nos. 2 and 3 alongwith respondent nos. 2 and 3, states that they have no objection, if the FIR is quashed.

In view of the above, that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will, and without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. It would thus be in interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. 6.

Accordingly, FIR bearing no. 493/2024, registered at Police Station Welcome, Delhi, for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 115(2)/109(1)/351(2)/3(5) of BNS and all consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
