The limited grievance of the petitioner herein is that the respondents have published a seniority list on 01.8.2017, inviting objections from all concerned and aggrieved by thereby, the representations submitted by the petitioner and his other batch mates, pointing out the discrepancies in preparing the said list and requesting for its rectification before the DPC is convened, have not bee considered and disposed of. 2.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondents No.2 and 3/BSF have commenced the procedure of making promotions to the rank of DC (Electrical), without deciding the pending representations of the petitioner and other similarly placed officers, who have objections to their placement in the seniority list, drawn on 01.8.2017. 3.
Having regard to the limited nature of relief prayed for, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of the present petition at the stage of admission itself W.P.(C) 2895/2018
by directing the respondents to ensure that the representations received by them against the seniority list drawn on 01.8.2017, for the post of AC (Electrical), shall be considered and disposed of before convening the DPC for making promotions to the post of DC (Electrical). 4.
