The matter has been received on transfer.

This is a petition seeking direction to respondent No. 1 to provide protection to the petitioners against respondent Nos. 2 to 4 who are harassing, threatening and forcing petitioner No. 2 to return home. 3.

The petitioners are in love with each other and on 09.08.2024, they got married to each other as per Hindu Rights and custom. Thereafter, the petitioner No. 2 voluntarily left her parents' home to live with petitioner No. 1.

Respondent Nos. 2 to 4 who are the family members of petitioner No. 2 have threatened the petitioners and have also lodged a missing report with The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The petitioners are present through video conference mode and are identified by their counsel, Mr. Vijay Dutt Gahtori and SI Ashwini Kr., PS Rajouri Garden.

The certificate of marriage is already on record and as per the same, both the petitioners are adults and have married each other as per their own free will and desire. Respondent No. 1 is under an obligation to ensure personal safety and security of the petitioners and Mr. Sharma, learned counsel for and on behalf of respondent No. 1 undertakes that the same will be done.

The mobile number of the SHO as well as the Beat Officer has been shared with the counsel for the petitioner and as and when a complaint/call is received from either of the petitioner, the same shall be duly addressed and appropriate action shall be taken.

Since the prayers in the present petition are primarily against respondent No. 1, I am not inclined to issue notice to respondents Nos. 2 to 4.

The petition is allowed and disposed of along with pending applications, if any.
