% 12.12.2024 1.
The Petitioner has filed a complaint before Respondent No. 1 - District Magistrate, Kanjhawla, under the Maintenance and Welfare of the Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 read with Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of the Parents and Senior Citizens (Amendment) Rules, 2016, seeking eviction of her daughter in law and grand-daughter from her property. The complaint was filed on 12th April, 2023. 2.
The Petitioner's grievance is that her complaint is not being taken up for adjudication by Respondent No. 1. Along with the instant writ petition, copies of order sheets have been annexed, to indicate that the Petitioner's complaint for eviction is not being considered, primarily because the presiding officer could not conduct the proceedings on several dates on account of other engagements.
