O R D E R

% 07.12.2016 (1) Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred by the petitioners for quashing of FIR No.1703/2014 under Section 379 IPC & Sections 135/150 Electricity Act, 2003 registered at Police Station Mehrauli. It is stated that the matter has been settled with the complainant/respondent No.2 amicably.

(2) Learned counsel for respondent No.2 / BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd. is present before the Court and informs that the petitioners have paid their all dues and respondent No.2 / BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd. has no objection to the quashing of the FIR.

(3) The petition is supported by the affidavit of the petitioner & order dated 23.10.2015 of Permanent Lok Adalat-I recording settlement between the parties.

(4) Since the matter has been settled between the parties amicably and the entire dues have been paid, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to put an end to the litigation, FIR No.1703/2014 under Section 379 IPC & Sections 135/150 Electricity Act, 2003 registered at Police Station Mehrauli and all the proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. (5) The petitioners are, however, burdened with costs of `15,000/- to be deposited with Prime Minister Relief Fund within two weeks. The Registry shall ensure the compliance of the order. (6) The petition is disposed of accordingly.
