% 05.09.2016 By this petition filed under Section 397 read with Section 401 and Section 482 of Cr. P.C., the petitioner seeks direction of this court to set aside the impugned order dated 27.02.2016 passed by NDPS Judge, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is behind bar since 15.07.2015 in a case registered as FIR No. 0493/2015 under Section 22 of NDPS Act, Police Station Anand Vihar, Delhi and the question of the contraband being narcotic substance is pending before the Division Bench of this court. It is further submitted that in case the decision of the Division Bench is awaited, the trial of the petitioner before the Trial Court will be
prolonged.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the purpose of filing the instant revision petition would be served, if the Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner's case.
In view of the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of with direction to the Trial Court to conclude the trial of the petitioner as early as possible.
With aforesaid observations, the present petition is disposed of. Trial court record be sent back forthwith.
